Today, I'm sharing a sketch of a puffin...
I didn't have enough time to paint it yet because I have a ton of homework to do.
(it's not really pink, it was just the best color to use
on the computer to help you see the light pencil lines)

I lived in Iceland for 15 months and loved seeing these little birds!
I think it is uber sad that they have them on dinner menus. :(
They are tiny, fat little birds that love diving for fish!
I often wonder if they are related to penguins...
Here's a NG video of puffins...

They're such pretty birds. Great sketch!
ReplyDeletePuffins are so adorable. I had no idea they could be a menu item. Have you read "Wee Peter Puffin"?
ReplyDeleteThanks Leah. :D
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, No I haven't read it...should seek that out sometime. Thanks!
Nice line art you have going on this bird sketch. I actually kind of like it in "pink" when usually I "hate" the color pink, at least in my own clothing. My mom always was trying to get me to wear pink things when I was a little girl and I rebelled I guess. Lovely art! I can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteI adore puffins!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, Neighbor!
I kind of like her pink :)
ReplyDeleteLovely sketch!
He is fabulous! I love the lines in your sketch. Wouldn't want to eat them, though!
